Manual Therapy

Manual therapy has proven its success over years in the world of Physiotherapy with its effectiveness further supported by a vast amount of research evidence.

It is believed that manual therapy may assist in reducing pain, improving function and overall well-being through Physiological, Biomechanical and Psychological mechanisms.

Our therapists have a "hands on" approach to treatment and all use manual therapy techniques as part of their treatment regimes. This may include Joint mobilisation and manipulation, traction, range of motion, trigger point therapy, massage and stretching. These techniques are supported with the incorporation of exercise therapy and other modalities to ensure any improvements are sustained.
